This is a youtube video about the effect of shadowing and
lighting using an egg. He had to take 5 shots from different angles of the egg,
however he was not allowed the move the position of the egg in any of the
shots.
He starts with the egg in the middle of the table, he then
gets a light and travels it around the egg and you can see how the shadow changes
and how it changes in size and shape. He teaches how important the positioning
of a light is when taking photos and how it brings affect to the image. I will
use this when I start my shooting, and make the shadow bring affect to my work.
This video shows what the three point lighting is and how
good it is in order to bring a good affect to the photo. Three point lighting
gives the photo highlights of the most important part of the model and makes it
lighter so that it is easier to see the best features. There is a back light
that is positioned at the back behind the subject and it shins straight on it,
this then reflects into the two front lights and gives it better quality lighting
for the photo. It is better to put each light in step by step so that you can
get a better view for each light and you will know when to position the next
light.
